Carmakers are lining up new models ahead of the festive season, and three updated cars arrive in India in the first week of October alone.
The facelifted Mercedes-Maybach S-Class launches on October 5. It gets a larger illuminated grille, redesigned headlamps and star-shaped daytime running lights. Inside, there is a 14.4-inch touchscreen and a separate 12.3-inch display for the front passenger.
The Honda Elevate facelift is expected on October 6. Changes include a revised grille, new bumpers and alloy wheels, ventilated front seats and a 360-degree camera. It keeps the 1.5-litre petrol engine with a manual or CVT automatic.
The Skoda Slavia facelift is also expected around October 6, with prices likely between Rs 10.25 lakh and Rs 19 lakh. It adds a segment-first rear-seat massage function and a new 8-speed torque-converter automatic for the 1.0-litre TSI engine.
Around 11 new cars are expected this month, including the Volvo EX90, Toyota Glanza facelift, the new-generation Audi Q3 and the Renault Duster hybrid. Final prices will be confirmed at each launch.
